Neely & Karl // Mobile AL Barn Wedding Photographer (Part One)

At a little cafe in Fairhope, I listened as Neely shared her excitement for how Karl popped the question. Neely and Karl where getting married!!! Neely's heart of gold is one I have adored since the day I met her (which was about seven years ago) - and I loved how Karl made her heart leap.

One sunny day in Silverhill, at a private barn, a southern lady married a southern farmer in a wedding ceremony on a lake - and it was gorgeous

So so so excited for you guys!!! I can't thank you enough for allowing me to be your wedding photographer and friend. :) May your love and marriage be as abundant as wildflowers!

**There were so many hand crafted details that I want to share with you as part of Neely & Karl's wedding, so this will be a two post series :) /// This is Part I ... Enjoy!

Her eyes lit up and her gorgeous smile flashed. Jennifer began telling me how she and Chris met and what kind of day they wanted for their wedding. Aside from Jennifer's demeanor incredibly kind and sincere demeanor, one of my favorite parts was they had decided their wedding reception would be in her mother's backyard (love!).

She began telling me about how the search for wedding locations in the Fairhope area had all turned up less than what she had in mind ... and then it dawned on her, her mom's backyard provided the perfect poolside intimate gathering for their friends and family. Which mom agreed too, with a little persuading ;).

Jennifer, you met the man of your dreams and I so appreciate you guys and the bond that you share with each other. More favor and blessings for you both in your lives and marriage!

Happy Fourth of July!!!

Maybe it's the long line of military family, but I love America. When Kelsey mentioned having the American flag as part of her senior portraits, her face beamed ... and I loved it! Kelsey graduated this year and so we got together, trotted around town and laughed our way through the alley's as we shot her high school senior portraits.

Clearly this session is so fitting for today - Happy Fourth of July! May the sun bake your skin, the salt water cool you down, and the fireworks mesmorize you!
